"Concept Imagery: Cautionary Tale" is a harrowing video that portrays the plight of Waldorf students who struggle with concept imagery. They are like refugees at a feast--unable to partake of the rich curriculum because they struggle to make mental pictures based on language. This video is based on one of my students who sat through excellent classes taught by wonderful Waldorf teachers--and learned nada. She stands for every student who struggles to draw an original picture or write a composition based on what she heard in class because she did not picture it.

Note: The student in this video came from a Waldorf school, but the situation described is one that is all too familiar to educators from other school systems. Just as the problem is universal, so too is the solution presented in this course.
